
My Story
I began my fitness and health journey in the 1980's. I was at University and I kept getting sick constantly. I finally decided instinctively that working out might help change this pattern. I fell in LOVE with working out and quickly became an aerobics instructor, picture big hair and leg warmers!! And yes I stopped getting sick all the time.
After having my third child I had gained weight and felt sluggish. I began running with one in a stroller and 2 on bikes. I hated it at first but it was the easiest way to workout for me. Soon I was running races (slowly) but I grew to love running.
Along the way I became a personal trainer and then completed my yoga teacher training. I have always loved moving my body, but my nutrition left a lot to be desired. Over the years we made changes to our nutrition to support the health of my children who have food sensitivities and gut issues. After seeing the power of nutrition I decided to go back to school and became a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
