Fibre - Friend or Foe


I think you can guess which way I view fibre... definitely a FRIEND!

Do you know how much fibre you are eating daily?

The average person in North America is eating 10-15 grams of fibre daily. This is way less than we need to be consuming daily.

I aim for 30-40 grams of fibre daily. The daily recommended grams of fibre needed is 25g for a woman and 38g for men. As you can see we are not consuming near enough fibre daily and given the benefits of eating fibre, we can all benefit from eating more.
